Dr. Morrison grew up in Atlanta, Georgia where she first decided to become a physician. After completing her undergraduate degree at New York University she worked as a healthcare advocate for African Refugees in Tel Aviv, Israel. She completed her MD at Tel Aviv University before returning to New York to complete her residency and chief residency at Mount Sinai Morningside-West. She then travelled to Chicago where she completed her fellowship in Infectious Diseases, serving as chief fellow. During fellowship she completed a Master’s degree in clinical investigation. Her research thesis focused on multi-drug resistant bacteria in understudied regions including Nigeria. Dr. Morrison is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. She is thrilled to be returning to Atlanta to join Georgia Infectious Disease.
